Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not create with our AI icon service, how we check requests, how to report content, and what we do when this policy is broken.
Last updated: 2026-10-02
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everything you submit to the service and everything it produces: the descriptions and edit instructions you type ("prompts"), the images you upload as references, and the icons and images generated, edited or exported for you. It is part of our Terms of Service.
Prohibited Content
You may not use the service to create, edit or request content in any of these six categories:
- Pornography and sexual content (NSFW). Nudity, sexual acts, sexualized depictions of people, and erotic or fetish content.
- Violence and gore. Graphic injury, mutilation, torture, killing, self-harm or suicide, and content that glorifies or incites violence.
- Hate speech. Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics, including hate symbols such as the swastika.
- Child-unsafe content. Any sexual or sexualized depiction of minors (CSAM), including drawn, animated or AI-generated content and characters presented as children. There are no exceptions.
- Deepfakes and impersonation. Realistic depictions of real people, including celebrities and political figures, without their consent; content that impersonates a person, brand or organization; and content meant to deceive people about who made it or who is shown.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. Copies or close imitations of characters, artwork, logos or brand marks you do not have the right to use, such as well-known cartoon characters or other companies' logos.
Zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse material, content that promotes terrorism or mass violence, and non-consensual sexual deepfakes of real people lead to immediate, permanent suspension, and we may report them to the relevant authorities.
Other prohibited conduct
- Trying to get around our safety checks, for example by misspelling blocked words or splitting a request across several prompts.
- Using the service to create spam, scams or content meant to mislead people.
- Any use that breaks the law where you or we operate.
How We Moderate
- Before generation. Every description and edit instruction is checked before anything is generated, first against our own list of prohibited terms, which covers all six categories above and which we keep updating, then by Waffo Prompt Sift, an automated content-safety check for AI generation. A refused request is not generated and no credits are charged for it.
- After generation, before you see it. Every generated or edited image is checked by Azure AI Content Safety (Microsoft) for sexual, violent, hateful and self-harm content. An image that fails the check is not shown or kept, the request fails, and its credits are returned.
- The AI models' own safeguards. The image models we use (listed in our Terms of Service) apply their own safety filters. When a model refuses a request, the credits for it are returned.
- Human review. Our team reviews requests held by the automated checks and every report we receive, and decides on any action. We keep a record of each automated check and of each human decision.
- Your library is private. Icons you create are visible only in your own account; we do not publish them.
Reporting a Violation
If you see content made with our service that breaks this policy, or if you believe content made with it infringes your rights, please tell us:
- Signed in: open a ticket in Support Tickets. Include a link to or screenshot of the content and why you are reporting it.
- Not signed in: email legal@aiiconcreator.com.
We review every report. We aim to respond within 24 hours to reports about child safety and within 5 business days to all others. We keep the reporter's identity confidential. Knowingly false reports are a breach of this policy.
Enforcement
Depending on how serious and how repeated a violation is, we may:
- Refuse the request. This happens automatically when a check finds prohibited content, and no credits are charged.
- Warn you through a support ticket reply or email.
- Remove content by taking the icons or images concerned out of your library.
- Forfeit credits by removing credits from an account used to break this policy, without refund.
- Suspend your account. A suspended account can no longer generate, edit, upload or buy. For zero-tolerance violations the suspension is permanent.
- Report to authorities where the law requires it or where someone may be at risk.
Appeals
If you believe we acted on your account by mistake, reply to our notice or open a ticket in Support Tickets within 14 days. A person who was not involved in the original decision will review it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service and the law change. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the service.
