About AI Icon Creator

AI Icon Creator (aiiconcreator.com) is a web app for making app icons. You describe the icon you want or start from your own picture, choose a style, and get a square icon that you can adjust one area at a time and export as a pack for iOS, Android and the web.

Who we are

AI Icon Creator is made by a team of independent developers and designers with design experience. We build the product, and we publish the guides, tests and data on our blog. Our articles carry the team's name rather than an individual author's.

What we publish

• Guides on app icon sizes, Android adaptive icons, favicons and icon design, written from the platforms' own documentation, which we link. Two examples are our app icon sizes guide and our guide to Android adaptive icons.
• Tests and data, where we run our own tests or measure public data. We publish the method, the date and the numbers. Our test of eight AI app icon generators lists every score, file and terms line, and says plainly which tools we reviewed but did not test.
• Help pages that explain how the product works.

How we make our content

We use AI assistants to help run tests, process data and draft articles. The team decides what to test, sets the rules before testing and is responsible for what we publish. Facts about other companies carry a source and the date we read them. The details are in how we test and update our content.

Independence

AI Icon Creator is one of the products we write about. When we compare tools we say so at the top, test our own product in the same way as the others and list its weak points. We do not accept payment for inclusion or ranking, and our tests and comparisons contain no affiliate links.
