Edit without starting over

Whole icon

Change the overall look with your own instruction or a quick suggestion such as a bolder shape or fewer details, and set new subject and background colours.

Choose areas

Click an object or drag a box around it, then describe the change. Up to 3 areas per edit, each with its own instruction; everything outside them stays as close to the original as possible.

PSD layers (Beta)

Each part of the icon on its own layer for Photoshop. Included with Pro and Max plans and credit packs; the first split of an icon costs 10 credits. Layers are redrawn, so colours can differ slightly.

Can I export an SVG app icon?

Yes, in Beta. SVG comes with Pro and Max plans and credit packs, for these styles: Clean flat, Minimal friendly character (some renderings), Edge negative, Playful characters, Folded ribbon, Monoline character, and Geometric expression. The first conversion of an icon costs 5 credits; downloading the same SVG again is free.

Does the Android export include adaptive and monochrome icons?

Yes. The pack has launcher and round icons for 5 screen densities, an adaptive icon for Android 8 and later, and a 512 px Google Play icon. Icons in flat styles (Clean flat, Edge negative, Monoline character, and Geometric expression) also get a monochrome layer for Android 13 themed icons; the README in the pack says whether yours has one.

Can I use the icons commercially?

Yes. Icons you make are yours to use commercially, including as an app or product icon. Read commercial use and copyright

Does it only export bitmaps?

No. The PNG and the app icon pack are bitmaps and free for every icon. SVG vector outlines and layered PSD files are available in Beta with Pro and Max plans and credit packs.

Can I make an icon from my logo or a photo?

Yes. Upload a photo, sketch or old logo, and 17 of the 20 styles can redraw it as a new icon in that style. The result is a new drawing, not a copy, so check that it keeps what matters to you.
